Aberglasney is celebrating this year’s bumper crop of apples by holding an Apple Day event on Sunday, 4 October, and everyone is invited to come and join in the fun and creativity.
Apple day will include apple pressing with the Dinefwr Orchardeers. You can bring your apples and containers along to Aberglasney and they will help you make apple juice to take home with you that day. Their experts can also help with apple identification and give advice if you’re looking to grow apples in future.
Aberglasney’s Apple Day will also include candle making, decoration painting, Pembrokeshire Craft Makers will be exhibiting in the mansion, outdoor games and activities and a children’s ‘animals of autumn’ trail around the gardens.
Local singer and guitarist from Carmarthen, Dylan Carmichael, will entertain visitors in the Cloister Garden between 11am and 1pm. Dylan will bring feel-good vibes and acoustic charm to Apple Day.
