Welcome to the Llandeilo Arts Trail, formerly Tywi Valley Open Studios. We may have a new name, but it is still the same exciting event: from 25th July until the 2nd August, a group of artists and makers, all living within 15 mile radius of Llandeilo, opening their studios to the public, transforming the area into one of Wales’ most vibrant arts destinations. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet the artists in person, to see their art, take part in workshops and even purchase a piece of original work to take home with you.
This is an immersive, behind-the-scenes arts trail that offers rare insight into how art is made – from the first sketch or coil of clay to the final finished piece. Over nine inspiring days, you can step inside working studios, watch live demonstrations, and meet the artists face-to-face. Whether you’re curious about painting, textiles, ceramics, woodwork, printmaking, metal working or sculpture, the trail offers something for every art lover.
Llandeilo Arts Trail is an exciting and low-cost day out that sparks curiosity and creativity in children and adults alike. For collectors, it’s a chance to find one-of-a-kind pieces and buy directly from the maker. For locals and visitors, it’s simply a joyful celebration of talent rooted in the Carmarthenshire landscape.
