The Music House in Llandeilo offers lessons in Drums, Acoustic/Electric Guitar and Electronic Music Production, through private and group sessions for adults and children aged 5 and above. The Music House is run by Richie Hayes [BA (Hons) Music], a multi-instrumentalist and music educator with over 20 years of professional experience composing, recording, touring, releasing and teaching music.
Mission
We are passionate about music creation and the realisation of ideas. We believe every human being is naturally creative and the aim of lessons at The Music House is to encourage, explore and develop this creativity. The aim is not to produce learners that can simply memorise and repeat songs/phrases etc, but rather develop confidence in trusting their own instincts.
Emphasis on creativity is still underpinned with musical fundamentals and harnessing the building blocks of music to enable and encourage lifelong learning.
The whole is greater than the sum of its parts; learning is more than just invoking mechanical responses from learners.
