Llandeilo Jazz Festival
6th - 8th July 2018

The final plans for the seventh Llandeilo Jazz Festival are well underway. With more musicians than ever playing on three stages and more than 20 bands, Llandeilo Jazz 2018 is set to be the best yet. Musicians from all over Wales, France and the USA are heading to Llandeilo.

The Llandeilo Festival of Music 2018
14th - 21st July

The eighteenth annual music festival at Llandeilo seems certain to continue, and indeed enhance, the Festival's well-earned reputation for attracting world-ranking artists to this small market-town in West Wales. Over the years it has earned both the respect and critical approval of music-lovers from all over the country, drawing enthusiastic audiences to the various Festival venues for concerts and recitals, all characterised by its Artistic Director's imaginative programme planning. As in previous years there will be free daily Lunchtime concerts and the Schools Outreach Programme will involve local primary school pupils in the excitement of this vibrant annual event.

Tywi Valley Open Studios

Folk @ The Hangout
July 30th - 5pm until Late

Folk band The Meadows have teamed-up with the exciting new venue The Hangout to create a major new family-friendly event showcasing folk and acoustic music from the vibrant Welsh music scene. 'Folk @ The Hangout' is an evening with a festival atmosphere and a wide variety of great music. This year's lineup include The Monte Dons - a very lively six-piece band driven by bassist Paul Gray who had hits with a number of bands including The Damned/UFO/ Eddie & the Hot Rods, and fronted by Anthony Lewis on vocals. Also headlining are Celtic Folk performers Brenig, Cynefin and The Meadows. There will be street food along with a licensed bar. Tickets are £10, limited to 200 and are available online (75p booking fee applies) or can be purchased in advance from The Hangout Llandeilo.
